REST APIs
Exchange structured data through defined endpoints for customers, products, orders, inventory and other approved resources.
Plan secure connections between LaraOffice and the tools your business already uses. Bring data and workflows together through APIs, event notifications and well-governed integrations.

Not every connection needs to work the same way. Select a pattern based on latency, data volume, reliability and the capabilities of the systems involved.

Exchange structured data through defined endpoints for customers, products, orders, inventory and other approved resources.

Notify subscribed systems when supported business events occur, with verification and retry handling.

Import or export data on a defined schedule for systems that do not require immediate event-driven updates.

Connect payment providers, online stores or billing tools through provider-specific integrations and reconciliation rules.

Coordinate order status, stock availability, shipment updates and fulfilment events where supported by connected systems.

Build controlled adapters for legacy systems, internal services and third-party tools using agreed data contracts.

Integration quality depends on more than an endpoint. Protect credentials, validate every request and plan for duplicates, delays, outages and partial failures.
This illustrative request shows a possible pattern for creating an order. It is not a live endpoint or official LaraOffice API specification; actual routes, fields, authentication and response formats must be documented by the deployed application.
# Illustrative only — replace with your documented API POST /api/v1/orders Authorization: Bearer YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN Content-Type: application/json Idempotency-Key: unique-request-id { "customer_id": 1204, "company_id": 3, "currency": "LKR", "items": [ { "product_id": 501, "quantity": 2 } ] }
A repeatable process reduces data mismatches and makes integrations easier to support.
Identify source of truth, data owner, triggers, field mapping and expected timing.
Agree authentication, least-privilege scope, secrets management and environment separation.
Validate duplicates, rate limits, invalid payloads, outages, retries and partial processing.
Track sync status, alert on repeated failures and reconcile records between systems.
Define which system owns each field and how conflicts, deletes and updates are resolved.
Use stable external IDs, idempotency and deduplication rules for repeated requests or webhook delivery.
Store failed jobs safely, provide retry controls and preserve useful diagnostics without exposing secrets.
Document API versions, pagination, rate limits, deprecation policy and backward-compatibility expectations.
This page describes integration capabilities and patterns, not a verified list of currently available endpoints. Confirm which endpoints, scopes and events are implemented in your deployed LaraOffice version before promising a specific integration.
Event-driven updates can be implemented using webhooks or messaging where supported. The receiver should verify authenticity, handle retries and duplicates, and avoid assuming events always arrive exactly once or in order.
Keep secrets server-side in a secure configuration or secrets manager, restrict their permissions, rotate them when needed and never commit them to source control or expose them in browser JavaScript.
Design for timeouts, bounded retries, backoff, queueing where appropriate, failure alerts and reconciliation. Do not silently discard failed financial or inventory transactions.
No. The code is illustrative only. Replace it with the actual API contract, routes, field names, authentication and validation rules implemented by your application.
