When several entities operate under one group, teams need shared standards and clear boundaries. LaraOffice can provide a framework for organizing that work in one business platform.

Company and branch structure

Role-based responsibilities

Consistent processes

Help teams follow common procedures for approvals, purchasing, sales and operational handovers across entities.

Management reporting

Bring relevant indicators together for group leaders while retaining the ability to review individual entity performance.

Clear data boundaries

Separate company records where required and establish controlled sharing rules for group-wide information.

Audit-ready activity history

Frequently asked questions

Multi-company groups, explained

Key considerations when planning a connected ERP environment for more than one company.

What is multi-company ERP management?

It is an approach to organizing operations for multiple legal entities in a coordinated system, with suitable controls for each company's records, responsibilities and reporting.

Can each company have its own users and permissions?

A suitable implementation can assign roles and company-level access scopes. The application must enforce these permissions on the server for every relevant action and data query.

Can group management see company-level reports?

Group and entity-level reporting can be designed where the required data is available and the user's permissions allow it. Consolidated financial reporting may require additional accounting rules and validation.

Can companies share master data?

Shared reference data can be useful for selected items, while other records should remain entity-specific. The sharing model should be defined deliberately rather than assuming every record is shared.

Does multi-company automatically handle intercompany accounting?

Not by itself. Intercompany transactions, balancing entries, eliminations, tax treatment and consolidated statements require explicit accounting workflows and testing appropriate to your jurisdictions.
